This has been a beautiful summer and it is looking like an event filled fall! Here’s what I have coming up on my fiber schedule:

September 3-4 Eastport Salmon & Seafood Festival is having a Fiber Arts show as part of the festival weekend. I will be there showing off some items and selling yarns and fiber!

September 7-11 Fiber College at Searsport Shores Campground. I will be there vending and teaching Friday through Sunday. It should be a blast, camping by the sea. Crossing fingers for good weather! I teach a Luxury Blending Class on Saturday and a DIY Spindle demo late Saturday afternoon. I am looking forward to a fun weekend of fiber festivity and learning!

September 23-25 MOFGA Common Ground Fair in Unity, Maine. I will be there helping to coordinate the fleece tent and picking out my favorite ones of course! On Sunday I will be giving a build your own drop spindle demo. An exciting and fun filled weekend for lots of people. I think there were over 67,000 humans who came to the Common Ground last year, lots of animals too!

October 21-23 Maritimes Spinners Retreat – Aaah. A relaxing weekend of spinning and hanging out with fellow spinners on the beautiful Prince Edward Island. I may have a bit of fiber with me for sale for those who forgot to bring enough fibers. Always ready to enable my fellow fiber lovers!

December 3rd – Holiday Fair in Machias. This is a lovely show where only handmade products are allowed to be offered for sale.

In addition I am teaching a couple of Adult Enrichment Classes through MSAD #37 in my community.

Knitting Socks & Mittens – Starts September 19 for 10 weeks of knitting fun and friends

Fiber Explorations – Starts September 21 for 10 weeks of learning many of the things you can do with wool and other fibers.
